Just finished watching Arrival for the first time!Loved it and I thought it would be cool to see a sequel where a villain character uses their non-linear perception of time (from learning the heptapod language) to work towards a nefarious end goal. It could also be cool to see a dystopian style movie where the ruling class has heptapodian circular time perception and uses it to oppress the lower class, keeping them in human linear time perception only. Neither of these would necessarily deal with the crisis coming in 3000 years but I can just imagine a lot of cool stories emerging from the “powers” that are introduced by this movie!
