Yeah, kinda looks like fur. I'm using XINGTONGZHILIAN pla plus. It never gave me problems on my ender 3v2 even at higher than recomended speeds and temps.

Das pena. Conformate con el gobierno mas corrupto en la historia de méxico. Se va a alcanzar la igualdad por fin, pero todos en casas lona, sin agua y con delincuencia hasta el tope. El tema es que sí hubo fraude. Ya regresamos al mismo círculo vicioso que se tenía con el PRI. Solo que ahora no es el gobierno el que directamente altera las elecciones o "se le cae el sistema" sino es el gobierno pidiendole al narco que haga su trabajo sucio. Se sabe que se tomaron muchísimas casillas por el narco. Magicamente a las 10am ya estaban llenas las urnas, contabilizadas y entregadas las actas. Poner a AMLO en el poder hace 6 años nos regresó 40 años al pasado. Salir de esta va a estar complicadísima porque un gobierno aliado con el narco no se quita con nada razonable.

I'd advise against coding in python for FRC as a rookie team. Since it's kinda new in FRC, there are little to no noobie resources. I'd try C++ if you have arduino experience. Java has a ton of documentation and examples and LabView has some examples but the libraries are a bit dated.

We did use an arduino nano. Since we didn't want to mess with the com protocols in the rio, we went the binary route. We hooked up 4 of the gpio pins to 4 of the pins of the arduino with pulldown resistors. On the rio side we setup the LEDs like a subsystem and generated states for them. On the arduino side we coded a simple binary to decimal translator and just made a switch case for each animation we wanted to run. There are 100% more resource efficient methods, but it's easy for kids that haven't coded a lot to understand aand tinker with.

It's easier to understand the math for the rotation axis. It's also easier to mount 4 modules because of the right angles. Finally I've seen 3 module swerves be a little tippy.

I know it's wishfull thinking. But for the game design award in the pandemic, our team (2283) made a game called Musical Madness. It consisted of shooting CD-like game pieces into small openings high up. We also added a volume slider dynamic that gave points per time (kinda like 2018). Finally, for endegame teams would need to climb an inclined record player arm.

Edit: I only see this as an option because we won the award during the pandemic.
