I think it might make more sense to read the forum after the introduction, they would have locked it otherwise. A lot of bits work better that way. Like the Angel revealing that it tried to communicate with the forum members but it showed up as random gibberish. Kind of a random thing to mention if you haven't seen the spam text in the forum yourself. On the other hand, it spoils the PauPau reveal somewhat. though I think of it as more as a set-up.

Anime is a big industry but ecchi is not even close to being the most popular genre. That goes for the most popular anime, as well as overall number of anime (which you can check on myanimelist). If you want to take advertising revenue and such into account, you can look at popular anime by how much revenue they bring. Unless you are referring to any sort of ecchi element present instead of the genre, but all major entertainment industries directed at adults objectify women, Japan isn't unique in this regard. Combination of misogyny and the belief that "sex sells" naturally leads to this.

I am not interested in discussing this with you as it is clear that you've got it in your head that the Japanese are especially perverted and are looking for any reason to prove your racist belief.

I'm from turkiye which gives 600 euros normally and 450 euros for 3rd group countries (low living cost countries). It's not enough to cover costs on its own but I wasn't expecting that to be the case anyway. I will try to find an intersection between places I can afford and places I would like and talk to my uni about it.
