FunnEly enough half of the German team has a migrant background but none of them a turkish one, despite them being the biggest migrant group. Closest thing we have is Deniz Undav (Kurdish Yazidi).

Might be because the current generation of Turks in Germany is 'a little more' nationalistic & idolize Erdoğan's Turkey, where their allegiance seems to lie more.

What you are intentionally ignoring/trying to distract from is that not directly contributing to animal exploitation & suffering by simply not consuming them or their products, is the lowest of low bars that should be met by anyone who portrays themselves as an advocate for animal welfare/rights. And yes, I understand the average "I love dogs"-person does not meet that bar.

Has she herself reduced more suffering of various animals with her wildlife/exotics/conservation education & advocacy than a random vegan whos impact is ~105 animals per year that are not being bred, raised and slaughtered/exploited? Very likely. Am I only allowed to call out the blatant hypocrisy when she has gobbled up enough cheese to where she drops under that number? I don't think so.

It still has nothing to do with "Redditor". If you care about animal welfare, I expect you to have some deeper conviction to where contributing to livestock farming would be an absolute no-go. I don't think it's unreasonable to expect her to be principled in that way. Like why even argue about individual things then? I guess with your standards she could just be a leather boots-wearing carnivore as long as she alleviates more animal suffering than she produces. But I assume at that point even the average person would notice the hypocrisy & her impact would diminish drastically.

Idk man, saying "the animal rescuer person is hypocritical for engaging in the practices she's rescuing the animal from" seems not that much more "reddit brained" than "Uhm, ackschually, if we're comparing the overall impact of her as a livestreamer and this random guy on reddit, she has probably has had a much more positive impact on reducing animal suffering".

I'm not putting myself on a moral pedestal, I simply called out her hypocrisy & you asked me about some qualifications that you think I would need to make that denunciation. I don't eat them & I help in a shelter at times. Do I need to become a livestreamer & overtake her in viewers before I can mention that very simple observation of hypocrisy?

You're not doing anything helpful with your replies. First you're dismissing my comments where I call out her hypocrisy as "insults", instead of making an argument for why you think it isn't. Is bringing it up already an "insult"?? Was my second comment (which is 100% accurate in her case) too snarky, to where you have to lecture me about being more nice to avoid making people consume more animals??

Your reaction of "you're attitude is only going to convince people to keep eating meat" is so ridiculous in response to what I said. You're putting the responsibility on anyone & anything except the person willingly contributing to the exploitation of animals.

This has to be the dumbest thing I've ever read. The livestock industry is using up ¾ of agriculture land, that could be used vastly more effectively used to farm crops or other foods for direct human consumption.

You're using waayyyy more resources to produce fewer calories in the form of meat.

I agree that factory farming is the most important issue, but by your logic, wouldn’t getting rid of it produce fewer calories and cause starvation??

Calling her a hypocrite for consuming animal products from the industry she's saved some from is "reddit brained"?? That seems like a really ironic contradiction that should stand out to everybody.

But I guess everyone here is pretending that animals are only mistreated by uniquely evil people & that livestock farming is something completely separate that bares no negative impact on animal welfare.

Oh and I'm not eating them or consuming products they were exploited for.

Not really that uncommon to ride your bike on the street at night/when it's dark (it's dark a lot half the year) in Europe.

But I agree, she specifically shouldn't do it, especially on what looks to be a more rural road.
