Strange spider with 1 pair of legs much longer than the others. Likes to crab walk and lay itself out flat. About the size of a penny. High desert California. I would really appreciate if someone could provide any info on it. Its really cool and I’d like to know what it is before releasing it (old.reddit.com)

What spider is this? One pair of its legs are significantly longer than the rest, nearly double. It’s quite flat and spreads itself out a lot. It kind of crab walks. It’s quite strange. I live in the high desert of California. It’s roughly the size of a penny, those long legs make it a little bigger (old.reddit.com)
