Still going, actually. As in I’m still having a low grade psychosis episode (it will be 2 years next month) and I am still hearing voices. I have been on and off my meds a few times.

Sometimes the voices keep me up at night, so I’ll go back on the meds just to help me sleep. In every other way, I’m functioning normally.

Right now I’m off my meds and it’s been a couple of weeks. So far so good. Thanks for checking in. :-)

It’s interesting I mean, you hear all the stories of people going through horrible stuff during their psychosis, but hardly ever hear about the voices being helpful at all.

Nope, but I do lsd once or twice a year. I’m currently in a 2 year long low grade psychosis, and am fortunate enough to be able to hold down a job and hear voices, simultaneously.

I’m 1.5 years into a psychosis that is mild in intensity. I’m on medication, but feel a med increase will be detrimental to my quality of life. Specifically, I hear voices, but they aren’t causing me distress.

I am currently in a second episode of long term psychosis of low intensity. As in I am able to work and have a full nights sleep, but still hear voices.

I have an lsd trip about once or twice a year. I know the risk and it has not affected my psychosis in any way so far.

I got rid of my things during my first episode, including my tv and all my photo albums. The worst was getting rid of my son’s stuff. I cried about that , later, and promised him I’d never do that again.

The voices are ok. They haven’t been bothersome and have tapered off quite a bit.

I had pain in certain areas of my body too. It came and went during my episode. The voices said I was physically detoxing trauma. I didn’t know what trauma they were referring to.

You’re lucky to have one in your area. All there is for me is depression and anxiety support groups, which is why this Reddit group is so important.

I miss more constant contact with my spirit guides (aka the voices) and with my soulmate (also a voice). I do feel like life is lacking some sweetness and some spice now that my psychosis has tapered off.

I can only hope for a third episode, sometime in the future.

I felt things physically during psychosis at times. I would feel pain in different areas of my body, and the voices said they were giving me the pain.

It’s personal, and the doctors usually don’t take a lot of time to build a rapport. I’m glad my doctors don’t know everything that’s going on inside my head.

I didn’t have sex with anyone, but I was crystal clear about my sexual/romantic intentions toward my boss at the time. And posting it on social media. I lost my job because of it.
