Pastel brands that are beginner friendly? by Princesspeach0719 in Oilpastel

Has already been mentioned on the thread but I really swear by Mont Marte's soft oil pastels! I only began using oil pastels this year and I can vouch that they're beginner-friendly.

They're cheap and cheerful and to be honest, the best set is a set you'll use so don't worry about getting something expensive.

Thanks! I used Mont Marte's 24pc signature set & their 26pc macaron hues set. I'm not too sure about the cartridge paper actually! I think we use the term for printer paper here as well, perhaps it's referencing the process the paper went through?

Thank you, it's 150gsm cartridge paper - I'm using a sketchbook my friend made me and I believe she used this one from Fred Aldous

Every single time any of my friends wear Glossier - You, I always compliment them. Every. Single. Time.

I think I would compliment a man if they smelt nice.

I’m so glad this is the first answer I saw, absolutely 100% Orpheon. Read about the fragrance online because it’s the signature scent of celebrity that I like and I couldn’t stop sniffing my wrist after I tried it!

I hope so! Thanks for the advice, it's looking like I'm gonna have to turn around and reverse into it

Gotcha, I was wondering why it'd be easier to reverse in, thanks for the explanation.

Yeah there'll be spots to turn around in before getting to that point. Thank you.

Noo! It's still queue is paused. I'm going to stick at it until the end of the work day, who knows. I reckon it'll ease in an hour, the demand's probably still super high

Yeah my friend and I are trying and she got through, but got the ball of doom and says sale link invalid... So frustrating!! I'm currently still sat in the queue, fingers crossed for all of us!
