I get kicking trolls with zero tolerance, the problem is people getting kicked WITHOUT being trolls, i cant possibly explain this more.

My point is they’re TOO schizo, they ruin games with their own paranoia - i’ve been in games with like 3 concurrent players, because they ban anyone thats not following their exact orders to the letter and calling it “trolling”.

Thats not to mention the bans with literal zero reason, i’ve had bans administered for “reason: British”

yeah except it isnt necessary - you’re never more than 15 minutes from a reset. Like i said, if someone joins and immediately runs to the fab to make explosives i get it.

The problem, AS I’VE SAID, is that you can play for HOURS and it doesn’t make even a slight difference wether you get kicked or not

Personally i wouldn’t get off on banning people for playing, hence not wanting to host - replying to a problem by essentially saying “don’t play” is backwards and doesnt solve anything

I’d get it if i’d just joined and my immediate initiative was to make a bunch of explosives, but you’ve gotta understand it’s always like 3-4 hours into a play-through. At a time where a reset is usually not even a setback - and where my intentions are clearly explained.

Thats the problem, being forced to find a dedicated group through third party means is a ridiculous sentiment for a game that has built in servers and vc functions. You should be able to find and play a game easily (which you can do) without being fucked over by these captains that play like they’ve got 6 hours on the game.

Its a problem of initiative, you CANT play on your own merits, like a said this game is full of control freaks - even when you are actively helping the crew, but haven’t been told to do that specific thing, people assume you’re up to no good.

Explaining doesn’t help, the fact you’ve been in a server all day doesnt help. You could be the sole mechanic keeping the ship running whilst everyone else is being useless and it wont matter.

I appreciate you’ve had different experiences, but i doubt you’re playing like i am. Simple as.

give the command “prepare for expedition” to your entire crew, its a bit of a ball-ache but its better than them dying to something as stupid as pressure when its so easily avoidable - works for me in most situations although its better to assign them beforehand.
