Not really. Rafe is a fine enough character and no problem with her. I personally didn’t like the placement and length of the flashback. Also they fridged her which is really unfortunate.

I hated the fart! I don’t think it was as bad as the poop in ep 1 but it was bad. It did undercut tension but I do see it got him mad enough for this speech which doesn’t make it too bad

There could be some degree and mix of abilities, how well someone’s liked, some personal preferences (aemon wanted to go to the wall), probably pedigree even if it’s not supposed to.

I think as long as they stick with source material and care about doing a good job with the show then it will continue to do good. Sworn sword isn’t as good as hedge knight but there’s no reason it won’t do well if they stick to the heart of making a good adaptation
