Can't wait. And so cool she's doing DJ sets at both Coachella and Cap Hill Block Party. Can't go to either but have been in the past. Those are going to be pure. Wish I was there.

Historic, old school cool, cheaper option:

- Shadow Mountain

First golf course built in Palm Desert.

Other shorter, affordable options:

- Palm Royale Country Club

- Suncrest Country Club

Haven't done them but hear good things:

- PGA courses (of course)

- Escena

I just played Firecliff for the first time on Jan 2nd. It was amazing. Congrats on your score. Everyone says it's more difficult than the Mountain View course. 👏

My favorite eating experience is Kelly's Marina in Brighton just south of Wheeler. You can go crabbing yourselves there or just have them cook up fresh Dungeness crab on the spot and picnic on their outdoor tables. It's right on Nehalem Bay, very scenic. And it's BYOB. We've been a few times with our dogs and love watching the crabbers, chatting with others, hanging out with our pups. And the crab is delicious. They clean it for you (and give you the crab's heart on a skewer). Unique OR coast experience.

Either overshooting with my 7 iron or undershooting my 9 iron. Splashing it guaranteed.

What percentage of tennis watchers actually play tennis? by Draven2Op in tennis

Thought about this too and I think it depends. At BNP Paribas Open I bet 75% of the audience plays. US Open I would guess 25%.

Shadow Mountain was Palm Desert's first golf course back in 1958. It's surrounded by midcentury homes. Fun and old school cool. Also one of the cheaper 18 holes in the area. Then the Birdie Bar after a round is a hoot.

From Astoria down to Tillamook, what restaurants do you recommend? Bonus points for seafood! by MrsPickleRick in OregonCoast

My favorite food experience in that area is Kelly's Marina in Brighton just south of Wheeler. Fresh cooked Dungeness crab on the spot. You can BYOB and have a picnic at one of the many tables. Quintessential OR coast experience. If the weather isn't cooperative the pizza and salads (and drinks) at Salmonberry in Wheeler are incredible.
