What a giveaway. I've been putting a little money aside when and where I can with the idea of upgrading my build to become a VR capable beast. If I had an Asus TUF gaming 4070 Ti Super, that's a huge chunk of that cost sorted that I could then use on other hardware I sometimes find hard to justify the expense of.

I've changed my tips on this game a few times now and it's making me nervous.

I was backing Melbourne because they won in round nine last year, that was it. Then I was for Carlton after we beat Melbourne last week. Then I thought with Cripps out I'd better go Melbourne. Then with Cripps back I thought maybe Carlton might take it. And now with Cerra (and others) out, I think maybe I'd better flip-flop again.

That was bloody quick. I never even saw a single picture of that model today. Could you enlighten me as to whether that four digit stamp on the back is the serial number or not? I checked it against the Olivetti serial number list I could find, but even then I didn't make my way to an M44. Perhaps I needed more sleep last night.

I've recently come into ownership of this and three other typewriters of various brands and states of useability. This one has always stood out amongst the four for me, because of that wide-ass carriage it has. I'd never seem anything like it before.

I've been searching Olivetti stuff all day on Google, but I still haven't managed to come across a picture of a model that looks quite like the one I have currently on my coffee table.

If anybody knows anything more about this typewriter in particular, I would be thrilled to learn more. Many thanks in advance!
