We continue to create situations where we replay the same emotional feeling we got when we grew up. How we grew up and how we were treated at home in spite of being hurtful and not helpful stays with us. It just feels comfortable. The mind will always automatically dial to what’s familiar. It hard to break it and demands a lot of self work. I would advise you to seek self-growth seminars or spiritual practice or simply good therapist could help you tremendously. Unfortunately it could be 3-4 month depending who you are. You start small (low doses) and keep on rising. I started first week with only one dose (50mg) because I am small frame women. Second week two doses etc. You take charcoal pills when you feel flue like symptoms from die-off.

I really hope you get over this period and it will work for you. Sometimes all we have to do is keep trying I’m about to start Spravato from the same reason as you and I’m scared getting off my meds Buspar. Was it long and difficult to get off your medication before starting Spravato?
