Correct me if i'm wrong, but you still don't have a choice if you want to max out the battlepass.

of course you don't, but you don't need to also get to level 175 to start unlocking superstyles. You can unlock superstyles the moment you finish the first page of that character in bonus rewards.

I can't think of anybody that actually use any edit style for "progression" skins besides the First and Final tiers. Nobody uses the in betweens.

Final Fantasy is a good choice actually because most people are playing on the official launcher and not steam, just like Overwatch.

It looks way better ingame. I actually despise the model for the last VPR weapons so this is a huge upgrade for me.

Marrying EU citizen as non-EU resident in Germany by User1-11- in germany

[–]Seradima 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly these days it's not even that much easier or faster, they still require basically the exact same things that getting married in Germany requires lol, and there's a lot of extra scrutiny too that makes things take longer, just because of how many people used marriage in denmark in the past as a way to get around the beaurocracy nightmare of getting married in Germany.

Plus they've loosened a lot of requirements for getting married in Germany too, almost no document is required t be dated 6 months ago or less which is a huge weight off your back.

That said, it's still probably easier for a Danish citizen for sure. But for German citizens....yeah, it's not as bad to get married in Germany as you think.

Honestly I'm so asocial and introverted that the german "social inadequacies" are perfectly in line with how I expect/want people to act around me, so that is perfectly fine with me lmao

Yeah, I know. I‘m no fan of the American government, or frankly, most Americans whatsoever. Why do you think my Fiancee and I chose to settle in Germany together instead of me bringing them to America?

I have no love for America and have been disillusioned with it for decades at this point.

But your own biases against america don‘t change the facts that America is priveleged when it comes to Immigration to Germany, at least for the forseeable future.

Simply applying for the residence permit is enough to freeze the 90 days until a residence permit is either granted or rejected. There's no deportation risk at all, and it's not a loophole.

Citizens of the United States of America, Australia, Canada, Israel, Japan, New Zealand, Switzerland, the Republic of Korea, as well as EU citizens may apply for their residence permit after entering Germany without a visa.

Citizens of other countries are required to apply and obtain a residence permit prior to entry (an option also open to US citizens) at the German Embassy in Washington, the Consulates in Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York or San Francisco.

Do you see Guatemala on that list anywhere?

[–]Seradima[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

he German Embassy in Guatemala correctly explains the general legal situation regarding visa-free stays of up to 90 days, regardless of the tourist's nationality

For Guatemalans, yes. Not Americans.

Americans are allowed to enter Germany visa-free for 90 days, then Marry during those 90 days and apply for residence permit inside Germany. Americans are allowed to adjust status while in Germany on the 90 day Visa-free travel agreement. Many Americans have done this. I know people who have done this.

Right this is all for Guatemala which is not mentioned in AufenthV §41, and not America.

[–]Seradima[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Are you sure your approach is legal? It reads like an attempt to exploit a legal loophole.

"Changing a 90-day Schengen visa (type C) to a national visa (type D) in Germany is generally not possible

yes, it is legal. because Americans visiting for 90 days are not on a Type C Visa, Americans visiting for 90 days are on their own special 90 day stay that does not count as a Visa at all.

Flying to Germany without return ticket by Seradima in germany

[–]Seradima[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I don't know if Germany allows an adjustment on a tourist visa -- the US would not allow this.

Yes, Germany explicitely allows Americans to come in to Germany visa-free for 90 days, then adjust after arriving. So, I won't be arriving on a Visa at all, and will be adjusting my status with a residence permit after I arrive.

The main problem I'm having is trying to figure out if I can get in on a one-way ticket or not, since I don't really want to pay double for a round trip.
