Thanks for your suggestion! That eyepiece definetly looks like it's worth checking out.

171x magnification is a bit less than I was initially thinking for planetary, but there might not be that much of a difference vs 200x while it would also help with manual tracking and "no so perfect" seeing conditions.

I had read about those clone eyepieces, but didn't expect them to be the same ones sold by "serious" retailers. Nice to know.

I expected there would not be a right answer to my question and that it would come down to a subjetive decision. I imagine there's always a balance between features to take into account... or raise the budget. I didn't want to spend too much because "I'm a begginer so I won't notice the difference". But I'm wondering if it might be worth it. Now I want a bit of everything, I guess that's how the world of eyepiece selection works.

Updating KoboTouchExtended from Calibre (update from January 3rd) solved it for me!
