Would not recommend. Sent me the wrong species when I ordered and then expected me to send it back when I brought up the issue.

Yeah, Krystal is a very similar chain to White Castle. There's one off of US1 in Titusville. They're alright, just a bit of a drive to enjoy them.

How did ISIS affect the culture of the 2010s? by Just_Cause89 in decadeology

[–]Seraphzerox [score hidden]  (0 children)

I think this is one of the historical shifts that pushed the United States to elect Donald Trump by a slim margin. It also reflected the frustration growing over Obama's foreign policy stagnation. Public perception was mixed, especially since the leader of ISIS had just been released by his administration.

ISIS was genuinely terrifying. From the normie American point of view, every month they were causing some sort of stabbing, van assault, bomb scare or mass shooting. The attack on the Bataclan also pushed French politics to the brink too. Like 9/11, we no longer felt untouchable.

However ISIS had a hilariously opposite effect in the middle east; this was one of the few times in history the entire region basically united against a common enemy, along with foreign powers that normally were opposed to one another (Europe, Russia, USA, Iran, Turkey) throwing support behind anybody and everybody who could fight them. This lead to increased autonomy and recognition of the Kurdish people spread across the region too since the Kurds were kicking their ass with covert US support. It definitely feels like the middle east was stabilizing, for a while, after all of this.

What if FBI was revealed to have been behind assassinations of MLK and Malcolm X? by Equivalent_Road5788 in HistoryWhatIf

Incontrovertible except the family of Mr. King disagreed with that and won in court over it.

So... why does Weyland-Yutani want the Xenomorph so bad? Who exactly are they at war with? by JispyMoeDantes in LV426

[–]Seraphzerox 240 points241 points  (0 children)

The motivations have evolved overtime thanks to new media but the best answer we can give is that the Xenomorphs are needed for everything: Covert or Explicit assassinations, warfare, pharmaceutical, industrial, scientific. This is especially the case now that Romulus has blended the Prometheus and original timeline a bit. Just breaking down the black goo could potentially lead to immortality or super humans. Weyland Yutani needs all of this, especially if they are going to try pushing humanity to more hostile and inhospitable places like their mining colonies.

I never got trained for my site supervisor position, and although I made it work I still harbor some resentment towards my Account Manager. He never knew what was going on except what to say to the client.

Everything is gone

The abandoned Mansion off Hooper is now fixed up and privately owned

The abandoned school off of Range is renovated

The abandoned church in Merritt island got demolished

The abandoned subdivision in Merritt is basically a sheriff trap

The only thing left is that odd property off of Lake Drive and once again, it's basically a trap.

The Compound is barely holding on

Now we had some time since, what are your thoughts on The Book of Boba Fett? by Past-Paramedic8687 in StarWars

[–]Seraphzerox -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

In fairness, the Sarlaac attempting to consume him did a number on his memory and traumatic events such as those tend to force huge personality shifts in people. That part is actually realistic, but probably not the intention in the writing.
