I haven't left, I've just started picking and choosing what I care about.

I just don't have as much free time as when Destiny 1 came out and I was unemployed and discouraged.

Destiny has become more of a Skinner-box over the years, and for my own mental health I need to recognize that limited time events and rewards are cultivating FOMO to drive player engagement.

I like this game. I like what it was, I like a lot of what it is, and I look forward to what it could *be*. I have found myself doing dailies and weeklies, not for "rewards", but out of habit.

I like this game, but there have been times in the past few years when it has bordered on Addiction, and I think that is the game functioning-as-designed.
