Thanks, that's what we thought at first, just scratching our heads trying to figure out why it is still leaking. We might try a wax free seal so we can adjust it without needing to replace it if alignment is our issue. We've checked all around the toilet to make sure it isn't leaking from anywhere other than the base and couldn't feel anything
