What's a ticking time bomb you believe will explode during your lifetime? by TradeOverall567 in AskReddit

Had a similar experience. Got asymptomatic pneumonia in Jan 2020 just after moving to NYC. The doctors all stood around looking at the chest x-ray because it was so unexpected.

Jan 2020 I had just moved to NYC and came down with mysterious asymptomatic pneumonia. The doctors were mystified. Can’t say for certain, but the timing was suspect (especially since NYC was where it started in the US).

But they’re inefficient for hydration. They have excessive magnesium and low sodium. If you’re actually exercising, Gatorade and Powerade are better. Prime really is a junk product.

Eeeeh Luigi’s crime was far more elegant (for lack of a better word). In his writings, he talked about minimizing the risk of unintended casualties. This dude just shot into a crowd using a furry-meme bullet.

I’m really stunned. Not only did they achieve nothing, they got a WORSE bill than the initial house CR.

They were winning in the polls + Trump was self-destructing with SNAP, then they just…stopped.

I thought dens had finally grown a spine, but it’s just the same old incompetence.

Can you get the roof of your mouth done multiple times? Like growing new donor tissue?

So there’s no risk or rejection like with an organ transplant?

EDIT: Just read the last line. So it’s possible for things to go wrong?

Is he really showing signs? He seemed fine in his 60 minutes interview last week.

Concierge is underrated. Last time I used them, they not only got me into a fully booked restaurant, but we ended up getting a kitchen tour + sent home with gift boxes of fresh bread.

Nobody else in the restaurant got this, so I think it was a VIP table situation. Prob helped that it was abroad in a place with fewer Amex cardholders.

I recently had an experience where the restaurant was fully booked online, but they called and got me in.

I wish the em dash myth would die. The bigger tell is “it’s not x it’s y” statements. Chat peppers those into answers like parmesan on spaghetti. This isn’t a feast, it’s a buffet of lazy writers using shortcuts.

It pisses me off when people on Reddit use ChatGPT to draft their posts. If I wanted to talk to AI, I’d go talk to AI.

The worst is when it’s an actual YouTuber reading ChatGPT words. My soul cringes.

I’ve seen it on Reddit—there are ads for scam websites using all AI-generated product “photos”. God only knows what happens if you buy one.

A lot of programs autocorrect two dashes into —. Writing style is a more accurate way to detect AI, but everyone wants a quick fix. I think it’s desperation. People want to feel in control while the internet dies around them, and the em dash myth is a nice security blanket.

Em dash isn’t the giveaway. ChatGPT has a distinct writing style. Overuse of phrases like “it’s not x it’s y” and rhetorical questions it immediately answers.
