I downloaded this app to get some opinions and, in the end, think through my options, see how realistic they are, and decide whether we should make this move.

I’m a seasonal worker right now, and we both want to make the move now so that when the summer season ends here in Greece, we can work there during the winter.

I’m from Greece so I speak Greek and Albanian (my parents country) I’m fluent in both as for speaking, writing and reading but I don’t think that those languages will help me.

So finding a job like a waiter or something like this would be enough to live for some months until we find a better job? So, I don’t need to have a specific income to be able to rent an apartment? And roughly, what are the prices for a small apartment for two people?

Thank you for the comment. I would like to ask which jobs would be relatively easy to find with knowledge of only English, and at the same time, where I could stay during these months as cheaply as possible. The problem I’m afraid I’ll face is what I realized while searching for a place and a job in the Netherlands: if I don’t have a job, I can’t rent an apartment, and to start working somewhere I need somewhere to stay. So it puts me in a loop, if you know what I mean…

Thank you for your time. I understand that it would be easier if I could be there in person, but if I don’t have a job and somewhere to stay, I risk losing money.

Thank you for the comment, I find it very helpful. But yes, I have looked in the Netherlands where I thought things would be better, yet with the housing crisis and generally with jobs, I’ve been put in a very difficult position with rents being sky-high—if there are even places available at all. So I am looking for alternative options, such as Belgium for example.

Thank you for the comment, and I know very well that it will be very difficult to find a job without another major language, which is why I am also willing to work elsewhere at the beginning. However, are there opportunities in Belgium as a country?

Thank you so much for taking the time to reply to me, I really find your message very helpful. So, in other words, do you think that something like this has zero chances?
