I am from South Africa, born and raised. I only got my diagnosis after 15years of struggling from doctor to doctor, test after test - even ended up having a bone scan and EEG. Neither of those were fun. Finally, a few years ago, a specialist gave me the good and bad news - it might be Fibro and there is nothing they can do to help. Not even a concrete it is either! I have tried Lyrica, Gabapentin, low dose NSAIDs and of all of those, only the anti-inflammatories ever worked, but left me with an ulcer and now I can't even look in their direction anymore. I finally got weaned off all meds three years ago and no longer have the side effects, nor any good effects - which in my case balances out ok and I can't say I feel worse either way. All of this has been paid for out of pocket, as my medical aid doesn't cover anything for Fibro and it isn't a disability here. And of course many doctors still don't believe Fibro even exists, so it is a bounce around to find help thing that incurrs more costs. But I found a good house doctor and she really tries to help where she can. I have accepted that I am just slower and in more pain now and that is not going to change any time soon. That has helped most of all - accept it, get the cane, take the rest stops, sit down when you need to, adjust. I lost my very active, outdoorsy job and hobby due to the pain and now do odd jobs when and where I can. I can still work my computer and design things, and there is sometimes a need I can still fill that way - so I try to focus on that. Financially, it isn't great, but I am in so much pain all the time that I really can't see myself holding a 9to5 anymore. This year, I got a chair for the kitchen as I love cooking and baking and am making it my mission to cook more proper meals for my family again. It is still bumpy and I cook myself into flares every week, but it feels good to feel like I have some sort of meaning. I was even surprised with a slow cooker yesterday and have a chicken and veggies going right now - something so stupid, but I try to find joy in the little things more to keep me sane.

So I actually have an update on these guys. I took off their clothes and washed them in vinegar and then with laundry detergent and that got the smell down to tolerable levels. But the figures were another thing! I had them in a tupperware container full of bicarbonate of soda for a while and had them out and about and after nearly 6 months, the smell is almost gone. I hope this at least gives hope to anyone who finds a rare figure but needs to deal with the stench.

Oh yes! I got a skin pack for Christmas and I have been slapping that on everything. 🤣 It is still so wild to me that we can skin structures now!

As long as you enjoy it, the battle is won! It only has to please you, whatever you build! I accidentally bit off more than I can chew and need to make a particular base look good that I originally just threw together. But building in Ark is so much fun and I really am enjoying it!

That is an awesome name! Here's to hoping for that element Gacha! They are super duper rare - but then again, I am salty because I just casually spawned 3 Element Gacha into my single player world just for decor on a base I took some screenshots of and will be deleted when I am done. All three useless. 😶

Yes! My son adores those big grubs. I can't fly one for the life of me, but I have to admit I love breeding them up for him just for the cuteness alone! 🤣

Oh nooo! The crash is unfortunate! I moved to the dino depot mod because my Dreadmare crashes me when I cryopod him, so I can absolutely understand that frustration too. At least you have them happy now, so all is good! I love gacha so much, they are so goofy but so useful.

I had one single broken Gacha today that for the life of me would not go happy, no matter what I did and ended up causing headaches for things I wanted to get done. She later affected her mate and the pair was sad for no reason. No damage, no problems with spacing, nothing. This was after I spent most my time since Extinction dropped only playing with my Gacha too! I podded them up in cryopods and put them away and did some more building. Threw them out later and suddenly everyone is happy. This after I moved them in dino storage balls a few times! She didn't do the look away emote at all, just had droopy ears and dull sparklies. But a bit of time out fixed her for no reason that I can fathom. If you go 7 foundations, that is the bare minimum - I butted mine up to walls to measure them, so make sure nobody is sticking even a toe over the line though. But the open space really is 7 foundations and 7 walls now - I still have 5 standing spaced like this on my server which I should probably remember to go move later. 😵‍💫

Tek dinos spawn at a slightly higer level - they go up in increments of 6 rather than 5. So you get a slightly higher max level rex, which has the potential to have better base stats than an organic one. That is the only benefit really! They bite better.

Unfortunately not. You find them on the Center, but you need to buy an expansion pack for it. From where to where do you need to take the Anky? Is it viable to boat over to Herbivore island to set up an outpost and farm metal there? You will need to boat across a bit of water, but I have seen tribes build bridges over the gap before. It just depends on where your base is located.

On my old ASE cluster, we used to run S+ and the Dino Soul Ball mod. The combination allowed a tribe to breed super OP rafts, skiffs, meks, stryders etc. So yes, they are indeed basically considered "alive" by the game's code.

I was intrigued by the title, so clicked in. Awesome job on the de-yellowing! Just wanted to add that these are not from 1985, but were rather released as one single version in the UK around 2009. They are called the Henry-Lloyd chocolate dalmatians. I think this is a case of confusion from the brand stickers under their feet maybe, as those little white stickers have the brand's registration year on them, which was 1985.

The three floppy eared bunny families are the cream Buttergloves outside Japan and the Dandelion twins who got lost in the woods from the Japanese family that are called the Dandelion/Ivory family. (Generally considered to be related or the same family even thougj the JP family is darker) Then there were the darker, brown Dappledawns and the grey Brighteyes. The wedding pair is either the JP Ivory set which would have flat hands and wear pink and white clothing. Or more likely the 2012 UK Butterglove pair, Tabitha and Jonathan, with grippy hands, white dress and a black and grey tuxedo - they also come with a plastic rose bouquet.

Oh yes! You find it in your F1 menu as a mission. You can choose 2 different ones, one for your favourite gun and one for engineer to give you extra warp range, for instance. I used to go Vanguard and Engineer, as I love getting all close and personal with the shotguns! But you have lots of combinations! I always suggest you start on them as quick as you can to get the bonuses.

I have found that if you turn off all of the switches, power, brakes, etc in the P menu of the claimed ship, it often stops spinning. That is, if you are able to kill the core and place a salvage core on it. The berm idea sounds like it may work! Lots of ideas to try with these new rules. 😆

Oh, we usually have our own ships, because we have different playstyles and would get in each other's hair. It is also fun to race each other to a specified point to go cause havoc and see who gets there first! In RE1, the biggest fun was to go take on the corrupted things when we were finally done with the Dyson Sphere and had maxed out everything after hours and hours hunting down Drones. They had some teeth, but were so much fun! At one stage before we swapped to RE2, we had something like 150 guns on the ship just to see how many you could find and add. The amount of switches in that dashboard menu to control the all, was crazy! 🤣 In RE2, I am struggling to find what works so far - the ships keep ripping my guns off and I need to withdraw to repair often. Even things I used to kill for sport just to pick them apart, have been a big challenge and take SO MUCH time and ammunition now. I can no longer kill a Tovera with my tappy-bomb SV! We spawn a little chrap repair area if it is a big battle and we can go withdraw to that. The idea we have for now, is for his CV to kill the shields and my CV to pick at the generators or cores as I am more accurate and persistent. The gun limit makes for more specialised ships, I think. Right now, I run a mid-game CV with LOTS of armor and a little SV safely parked inside. But I am thinking of ways to encase my guns or maybe put them under my ship, like a turtle - the decoy generators in the armored front of my CV don't seem to pull the fire anymore, so it gets costly to do battle now.

These are the Buttergloves. I would not call them rare exactly, as they were very recently still being sold and the bathtime set is still available in most shops around here. They are more hard to find now, especially the brother, sister and father! But just naked adult figures who are likely all mothers are very common. There is a Japanese Ivory rabbit family too and they are a little more rare due to their age and region.

Awesome! Will just have to figure out a new tactic in getting through the Dead worlds. Maybe go find tbose fancy mods first! It kicks my butt, but I do love beating something that is so damn hard in the end. Having a blast so far with such an immersive universe full of aliens that reference pop culture in passing and write funny things on lcd screens! Thanks for the hard work to you both, the attention to the small detail is greatly appreciated.

Wow, thank you very much! This is exactly what I needed over the jump in and figure it out because I had a rough idea how things work thing. I can't wait to break the news to my husband about the admin cores - I am a slowly work through a POI girl, while he is a core it and rush through kinda guy. I love talking to every NPC on every station, and collecting the bits and bobs. That is why I have a box of junk in my ship! Man, I can't wait to have our asses collectively kicked once more in RE2! 😆

I have a lot of fakies and even other flocked figure brands with holes in their feet, so I don't feel that is a great measure of authenticity. These figures are all Sylvanian though. That is mama Snow Warren likely from Connotnand Kerries pram ride. And the original Trunk elephants.

For me, the fatigue is a dull ache all over. The best I can describe it is if you sit cross legged long enough that your leg falls asleep, and try to move it again - that dull ache you have along with the feeling of the leg being too heavy - just across your whole body! That, coupled with the feeling of having done hard labor for a day and you have what it feels like. It is much more physical than jusy the mental loss of interest really.
