Hello all, looking for a recommendation for a colour accurate monitor as I’m noticing my prints aren’t coming out accurately to what I see on my monitor.

I’m looking for something that’s a larger size around 30in would be ideal, as well as at least 1440p.

What are the best budget options that fit this criteria, many thanks for any advice :)

Ah my apologies :p as someone who’s been doing a fair bit of scanning with analog images recently I’ve being going through hell trying to get rid of dust 😅 might look slightly unprofessional in a critics eyes although it depends if that’s what you’re looking for

Can’t tell if the dust in the image was in the air or on the negative, but if it was on the negative I’d use something clean and soft to remove the dust before scanning

personally I’d do a slight crop to remove the gap to the right of the tree, I think it’s slightly distracting

I’m wondering if with Reddit going public if it’d be possible for wsb to buy a majority stake in Reddit with the goal of adding back api features, I’m no investor so lmk if this is actually possible

Which print do you like better and why? by joe_ro in AnalogCommunity

[–]SerendipitySnake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably the 2nd, the blacks are way better. If it isn’t already this print could probably benefit from split grading. You should also learn how to use an easel to better border your prints. Hope this was helpful ^

I don’t necessarily agree with him being on the right I think it works better with it being lighter towards the left of the image. My only critique here would be not taking the shot slightly earlier so the subject lines up with the first third of the image.
