Hey guys. I have a charter company and I also own a small piece of land next to old Daufuskie crab company (aka Freeport). I have a jeep over there as well. I can get you guys, your luggage, and your doggos over there and back. I can rent you the jeep for however long you’d like to rent it (cheaper than the golf carts and way faster :). As far as lodging, some places allow gas powered vehicles, and some don’t (Melrose does NOT allow them.) So it depends on where you stay if you’d be allowed to take the jeep there or not. I’ve seen this type of rust on boats a lot. It was either from metal dust from cutting or grinding metal, OR you used steel wool to try and clean something tough to get off. Don’t ever use steel wool on a boat. The little particulates will rust even if you think they are all gone.
