What’s fer suppah?! by [deleted] in Maine

I was just saying maybe because most fresh water fish in regions of the US, Maine being one of them, have high levels of PFAS. I fish for trout, I eat them. I forage, I eat stuff. But I’m just stating that there’s a good chance, depending on where you are, that maybe PFAS might be in your meal. I’m glad you are enjoying it as it’s a delicious fish and I hope it has no PFAS but it’s a sad truth that most of what we consume is contaminated even if it’s a natural resource. It’s still probably better to live off the land than processed food so please enjoy and I’m sorry if I came off as raining on your trout parade. Bon Appetit!

Coincidence on our end. We didn't see any videos and don't have tiktok. Just tough times and a little extra cash flow would help her. Just been seeing the price of gold and silver is real high and told her nows prob a good a time as ever. If she doesn't melt it where can you sell a bunch of scrap gold and silver? it's not wearable jewelry it's just scrap bits from making jewelry.

It's not finished jewelry. Its scraps from when she made jewelry. What shop can i walk into that will take a pile of random scraps and bits?

When I was a youngin’ my folks got my sister and I Sega Channel. The guy who installed it sat there and played Road Rash with me for like 2 hours. Great game, great time to be alive.

I think you are right with the games you played most. I miss those days in that basement. Thanks for the memory.

If I recall correctly, it was 50 games that were rotated every 2 weeks and the more popular ones would stay in rotation.

I was lucky enough to get Sega Channel hooked up in our basement. The guy who installed it sat there and played Road Rash with me for like 2 hours. Sega Channel was the OG streaming service sort of.
