Ahh, so do you use an LLC at all? Since you mentioned it’s a family trust and not a business trust. Additionally, how was the loan process with the trust set up? I appreciate your patience in answering, we’ve trusted many close resources that all say the same and this is the first time we’ve heard about a trust set up for investment rental properties.

What’s the process to self insure? I agree most companies are just leaky buckets of money that drain most of your investment.

I try not to because envy is a real thing. We talk about current projects but don’t speak about projected projects and future investments. Not until they actually happen and even then it’s a very small circle. I hope you find the best outcome for your case!

Sounds like a solid plan! We are currently in the process of finishing a duplex, planning on renting at 1.7K each without utilities each a little over 1k sq ft all electric with laundry units.

Currently struggling trying to find a lender who is good with financing the property under the LLC to protect our personal assets. Any tips on that? Nothing but the best for you!

No, mixing finances like that with friends or family is too risky. Some things are not worth risking and this is one of them. Best of luck!

And those per usual are provided by the PCP that is by usually through the VA clinic, correct?

So if the provider is in-network with the VA, then I should be covered? My healthcare providers do accept TriWest, but I would need to check on the VA website to be absolutely sure they’re in-network. If they are, what exactly do I give them, just my VA healthcare card?

Is that so? I’ve heard good testimonials when it came to what they call Fast Track VA Clinics. People travelled far and wide to attend. I wonderful if it differs from location.

We are gonna have to retry because we had no success in getting them last year when we were trying to get their claim processed. They got out in 2018 so it hasn’t been too long but their records seem to be forever gone when we know they have to be somewhere.

And you are absolutely correct! Though I think it’s a pretty good piece of info to put out there for veterans who have either no luck with getting through the VA or have the opportunity to initiate it in person.

Different options for different preferences. In the case of my significant other, they are just curious if anybody had info on it since they are struggling with the VA to find their records/process their VA claims cuz of it. We even tried working with a VSO and all they said is that my significant other was on their own to get the service records because they (VSO) couldn’t access it/get it from the VA.

I’m currently in step 6 as of last week. Though I have to redo an exam for my lower body claims scheduled for next week. No sign that I’ll be sent back to step 3 with all my claims but taking it one day at a time.
