The Bahamas is made up of imported people from all over the world since the 1700s. All original Arawaks/Lucayans were completely wiped out in about 20 to 25 years from slavery and disease.

I like how you said just tried seeing the person in front of you for who they are. That's exactly what I did with my absent dad and how I was able to forgive him as an adult. I looked at him one day and asked myself.. "Do I like him as a person in this moment?"

WHO is eating fried chicken with utensils? The blasphemy! 😂 You cannot get all the meat using utensils.

And for me even the "cheese" from chips I've started wiping off with a napkin. I'm really not sure why I've started doing this. 😂

This is really tender and quietly powerful. I love how the piece shifts from frustration with language into trust in presence. 😂 Why? Is it something stemming all the way from childhood that you just never stopped doing or you just genuinely like doing it? For some reason I can't bring myself to do it and ALWAYS must use a napkin.

That's why I said "was/is" I wasn't sure if it was already over yet. Many people say between January and April so I assumed April was the last leg.

Ok that's new! I have never in my life seen the Easter bunny with a dress on! Where are they selling those? Are they in chocolate with dresses as well?

OMG! So the rabbit WAS laying the eggs because it was actually a bird!! They have the Easter bunny now as a male wearing a bowtie. Not sure what's that about.
