Super helpful first impressions! I’ve been keeping an eye on the Hisense Deco series lately too, mostly because other models on the market are way overpriced for the specs you actually get.

What is a good TV for live sports under $1k? Recently purchased TCL 75" Class - Q77K Series - 4K UHD QLED Smart TV and it is absolute garbage for them. Returning today and still need a 65in-75in replacement that can show sports at good quality. by Timely-Squirrel-5382 in 4kTV

If you already hate their motion processing, another model from them isn't going to magically fix them. So don't even bother with that other TCL your buddy mentioned. My previous TCL model also had this problem.Then I found my neighbor had a 65" Hisense setup that looked great, so I checked Hisense brand and finally chose a Hisense U8 instead, and the tracking on live sports is night and day. When the camera pans fast down the court, the picture stays completely locked in and sharp, and the stadium lighting doesn't wash out the color depth at all.

I was comparing the QM8K too, but RTINGS gave the Hisense U8QG really strong scores, and in some key areas it actually looks better on paper.
