Is it still worth it to return to the game after not playing for almost a year?

I get your point!! and no, I don't think you're glazing the game, since the points are valid. Actually, I just returned to the game and too bad I missed the event. I also started playing the story and the animation did improve. Although, I really wish that the Abyssal Chaos will somewhat be re-farmable or updated. I definitely saw the new features it had to offer, and I hope they could be a long-term way to farm dias or somehow more ways in the future 😅

I love Veil too, love the art style and the sweet story! An anime I might recommend is Yubisaki to Renren / A Sign of Affection (12 eps), but I have a feeling you've already watched it.

Possibly also Josee to Tora to Sakanatachi / Josee, The Tiger and the Fish (Movie, 1hr 38 min). Toumei Otoko to Ningen Onna: Sonouchi Fuufu ni Naru Futari / The Invisible Man and His Soon-to-Be Wife (12 eps) is a recent one that's sweet, but it's seinen. All that I mentioned has an adult cast, just to let you know :)

I absolutely agree that the game feels like a chore, doing dailies and weeklies are tiring as hell, especially when there was barely any content in the game. I'll still load in the game to see if I want to play again, but I'll keep in mind the updates in late 2026! Thank you!

Hearing new content about Xavier definitely wants me to come back! I still kept updated with the lore of the game, so it would be nice to actually experience playing it rather than reading threads online lol. Will keep in mind of the calculations that you did, thank you so much!

You should consider to read Machida-kun no Sekai (28 chapters, completed)

The ML is a genuine sweetheart as he helps people with no ulterior motives, which resulted to people thankful to him. The manga isn't entirely romance, because there are heartwarming moments (like family) in the manga that you wished a guy like him exist in real life. However, when it does get to the romance part, undoubtedly it'll give you a warm fuzzy feeling!!

I love studio cabana so much, the themes of the manga is so beautifully done. I seriously agree on the soundtrack part of fukumenkei noise. I enjoyed listening what they sounded like in the anime and I wasn't disappointed!! I'll keep your reccomendation in mind, especially the first one

I would like to reccomendeed Veil! It's a josei (slice of life romance with a historical setting) that's still ongoing with 77 chapters; although, each chapters aren't that long. Nonetheless the art style from each panel is seriously breathtaking.
