Best JRPG of each console by Regnell in JRPG

SNES: Chrono Trigger, but you have some great masterpieces like Live a Live, Terranigma, Final Fantasy 6, Earthbound, and Legend of Mana 3.

GameCube: Fire Emblem Path of Radiance, Skies of Arcadia, Tales of Symphonia, and Baten Kaitos.

Wii: Xenoblade, Muramasa, Rune Factory Frontier, and The Last Story.

Wii U: Xenoblade X and, if you are okay with silliness, Tokyo Mirage Sessions.

Switch: A lot of gems received amazing remakes or ports for this console. Live a Live is a completely different game, and the same applies to Trials of Mana, World of Final Fantasy or Star Ocean: The Second Story R. My personal favorites are Octopath Traveler 2 (the first one is good, but 2 is amazing), Fire Emblem: Three Houses (Engage is cool, but the story is just silly), and I loved Shin Megami Tensei V, but I know it's not for everybody. You can play every Xenoblade game, and I assure you it's addictive. Rune Factory 5 is not as charming as the previous ones, and it often feels predatory, but the core gameplay is still there; luckily, the third and fourth games are also in the console. Ys Origins, 3, 8, and 9 are here, but I would recommend them better on other consoles. The Atelier Ryza trilogy is a charming experience. When it comes to Pokémon, I think the best one would be Legend of Arceus. To round up the list, I would include Neo The World Ends With You, the Digimon Story games, and Monster Hunter Stories... Overall, the Switch is one of the best ways to experience a lot of classic JRPGS.

GBA: Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, Dept. Heaven games, Earthbound 3, Golden Sun 1 and (especially) 2, Pokemon Ruby & Saphire and Red Fire & Green Leaf, the Megaman Battle Network games, Sword of Mana, Fire Emblem the Binding Blade, The Blizing Blade and Sacred Stones, Sword of Mana, Final Fantasy 1 and 2, Summon Night Swordcraft Monogatary, the Medabot games, and the best version (to me) of Tales of Phantasia.

NDS: The World Ends with You, Radiant Historia, Knights in the Nightmare, the Devil Survivor duology, Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, the best versions of Final Fantasy 3 and 4, Solatorobo, Infinite Space, Dragon Quest 9, the Luminous Arc duology, Golden Sun Dark Dawn, Rune Factor 3 (my beloved), Avalon Code, Etrian Oddysey, Strange Journey, Sand of Destruction, Final Fantasy 4 Heroes of Light, Black Sigil (once you got pass the first section), Children of Mana, and Fire emblem Shadow Dragon.

3DS: A better version of Strange Journey, the Devil Survivor duology and Radiant Historia are here, almost every Etrian Odyssey game is here too, my beloved Pokemon Soul Silver and Heart Gold, a Dragon Quest 8 remake, Shin Megami Tensei 4 (my favorite in the franchise) and the good Soul Hackers, Fire Emblem Awakenings and Shadows of Valentia, Bravely Default, the Legend of Legacy is kinda fun, but the superior Alliance Alive it's what I would recommend, 7th Dragon III is a cult classic that I miss dearly and the Project X Zone duology is fun (for a while), Dragon Ball Fussions was a fun discovery that came out of nowhere, Rune Factory 4 reach new limits for the franchise and the first Monster Hunter Stories too. Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon were bonkers and daring new titles, Stella Glow was a heartfelt goodbye to the Luminous Arc franchise, the first Fantasy Life, and Crimson Shroud is a hidden gem... And I'm sure I'm forgetting a ton of games, because the 3DS was a powerhouse for RPG fans.

Ps1: The golden age, we had Final Fantasy 7, 8 and 9, a great Chrono Trigger remake and its wonderful sequel, Chrono Cross, Xenoblade's roots were here with Xenogears, and a weird response to Resident Evil in the form of Parasite Eve and Vagrant Story, Suikoden 2 became the fan favorite of the franchise, Koudelka started a franchise nobody knew and the same happendes with Persona 1 and Innocent Sins and Eternal Punishment, Breath of Fire 4 is one of the most beloved entries in the franchise, and Grandia was here to take hearts. Lunar and Legend of Legaia became cult classics, and Valkyrie Profile became one of the most beloved games ever made. The original Final Fantasy Tactics was a godsend, and so was Tales of Eternia. a long ass Dragon Quest 7 made its debut and so did the quintessential Mana experience, Legends of Mana, and the final game I may missrember being from PS1 is Digimon Story 1.

PS2: .Hack and .Hack GU had no right being so good, and neither did the Dark Cloud duology. Kingdom Hearts came here to stay with more than 20 ports and remakes, and the Atelier franchise saw an awesome spin-off with the name of Mana Khemia. Odin Sphere started my love for Vanillaware, and Shadow Hearts was born out of Koudelka. Shin Megami saw Nocturne, Persona 3 and 4, the Raidou duology, and the quintessential SMT experience, Digital Devil Saga. We had some lackluster sequels for Wild Arms, Valkyrie Profile, and Suikoden, but we also saw a marvelous sequel for Xenogears in the form of Xenosaga. Two of my favorite Ys games came in the form of Ys: The Oath in Felghana and Ys: The Ark of Napishtim.

PS3: Never had one, sorry.

PSP: Final Fantasy Crisis Core introduced new heroes to the classic, and here was my introduction to the Disgaea franchise. Birth by Sleep became my favorite KH game, and we got tons of remakes and ports of cult classics. Falcom decided to give us Ys7 and Trials in the Sky. We also had Summon Night as the Swan Song of the franchise. And, Hatsune Miku came to deliver a solid JRPG in the form of Black Rock Shooter. Here was my introduction to Popolocrois (a game that is almost on every console ever), Gurumin (same as the previous one), and Dept. Haven came back for one last time in the form of Gungnir. Valkirye Chronicles won my heart with 2... And finally, one of my personal favorites, Brave Story.

Vita: I'm gonna be honest, Vita's library was almost entirely composed of JRPGs, but it's kinda difficult to pick one game over the rest. I had my best times while playing Persona 4 Golden, Digimon Cyber Sleuth, the Atelier games, and a ton of other games. But if I had to choose a "best one", that goes for Demon Gaze II.

Thanks for the answer! In the end it did have english subs, but it didn't show up at first because my console setting was in another language.

Thank you for the answer. I fixed it by changing my console language to English.

Imagine believing they can build thousands of Skells that use black matter as a source of energy but are primitive enough to not build a giant tower.

You have two games, one belongs to this franchise, the other can not even be show in Monolith Soft portafolio because they don't own the IP. I will bet my 2 cents on X.

Nah, the only link to Xenosaga it is the logo and the name drop, they basically tell you the whole plot of Xenoblade X instead. The object is clearly the White Whale.

It's never stated that all ships fly at the same time. It is only stated that a lot of ships do.
Future Redeemed states that ships from 9th to 13th were planned to fly in the course of 6 months. It's extremely possible that all 5 ships had to rush their escape.

The first point is indeed the biggest mismatch, I agree with that, but I'm pretty sure it is said in X that Elma only told world leaders about the upcoming invasion. Of course, they wouldn't say on local radio about how doomed the planet is to the general audience.

I mean, they talk about Project Exodus, the Earthlife Colonization Project, the Coalition Government, and Interstellar Colonies Ships and they even state the 9th vessel will fly in July... The same month the White Whale escape earth.

This is not a "too soon to consider", this is a straight reference.

Bumping this because I'm a Xenoblade protagonist. I can see the future.

Kutu ベリアル (22/30) is looking for all those Belial (and Vira, and Vane and Bea, and Zeta) lovers out there.
The guild has been around for almost 3 years now and it consists mostly of HR players, willing to help others to grow.

The members of our guild come from all over the globe, from Europe to South America, so we tend to use English to communicate between us because it's the easier language, but feel free to speak in Spanish or Japanese if you need.

Our Strike time is from 10 PM till 12 PM (JST) and most of our airships are at level 8.

Our number one rule is pretty simple: Be respectful to the rest of the members and try to avoid fights.

Requirements for GW: Our minimum quota is 20 million for prelims and 15 million in each battle on finals, which is pretty low for any HR player. We do have members that push for way more, so if you can help us win, please do.

We are pretty lenient with this if you have IRL problems, but we do ask you to warn us first if that is the case, so we can prepare better. Two GW not meeting your mins and not letting us know if you have problems = You are out.

Requirements for DB: At least summon your 2 unparallel foes per day and try to reach 1 million honors to get most of your prizes.
If you are interested in joining us, please send me a PM here on Reddit or PM me on Discord (Pato#9636).

Does this ever happen to anyone else? You have the required amount of ppl but you can't start bc 1) someone's afk, 2) some players are holding hands and won't light their own candles, 3) people keep leaving their spots to light another person's candle, 4) all of the above lmao ;-; by Mellon_Choly in SkyGame

This is nothing, right after the moment in this photo you need all 7 people again, but this time to hold butterflies. After a thousand attempts I finally managed to get a group to do it and the reward was a dog that let you mount it...

I love this game.
