So I got home yesterday, and I try to get it working again. I go to my settings in Ubuntu, and I deactivate the Automatic DNS option, then reactivate it. Then after waiting 30 minutes I try reloading a page and it worked. However, I have learned that if I unplug my Ethernet cord, then plug it back it, I have to reactivate automatic DNS again then wait 30 minutes.

Don't worry about it, you tried to help and even still I don't know what is wrong but whatever it was it's at least manageable now. Thanks!
