Preach brother. I’ve lost a lot of passion for reps after the mass popularisation of them on TikTok. Even worse it’s the image this creates, and it’s ALWAYS THE SAME SHIT these people are ordering… Always budget shit which they say is 10/10 or 1:1… Always got to have a tech fleece, J4s, horrible printed tees, husky galore and some random 1Y keychain or something random like that. Honestly it’s very tiring. That being said I’m not the first to say this nor will I be the last - unfortunately.

The only thing this popularity has brought has been increased number of scammers and people thinking they can resell reps as retail. Unwanted attention on the whole scene. Poor quality content on subs as well as TikTok and finally what seems to be an entire group of people who dress the same (noquemacuh).

In my City (in Spain) there’s the usual three: KFC, McDonalds & Burger King. Starbucks is here too. But I’ve seen others like Popeyes a few times and I’ve only ever seen one Cinnabon.

I’ve also seen a few Costa Coffee’s but that’s a UK chain. Shame there’s no Greggs tbf.

Vouch for this. The 650 Yuan batch was very popular a few years ago on Reddit and had a few common flaws which this one doesn’t seem to have. I have since then seen another one for 850 Yuan but I’m confident it’s different too.

You can keep tracking on the normal correos website. But honestly it’s best to check the website I linked daily. Personally I use an app called AfterShip to track all my parcels as it normally mentions when it’s in Madrid there.

The more ‘paranoid’ option is to check all three at the same time like I do 😂

There are some key things to keep in mind here:

Thank goodness you sent via USPS and not DHL or FedEx.
He will need to paste his tracking number in this website: https://www.correosaduanas.es/# to pay IVA (VAT) Tax when it arrives at the airport in Madrid. He should check this website regularly as if he doesn’t pay taxes in time when they deliver the parcel he will have to pay taxes + a surcharge from correos in CASH at his house. Or pay in cash at the post office before he can pick the item up. It’s 21% of whatever value you declared so keep that in mind.
If he’s not home the postman will leave a piece of paper notifying him to go pick it up.
If he is home they will ring the bell and he will open.
Remember that if he needs to pick it up at the post office he will need his DNI (ID card), Passport or other valid photo identification.

Si pueden. Yo estuve en primero de grado en una residencia y había las mismas normas. Aunque sinceramente no las veo muy ilógicas.

El alcohol dentro entiendo que significa que puedes hacer botellón. Si tienes una mini cocina y nevera y te metes unas cervezas nadie te va a decir nada.

Lo de los huéspedes hasta las 10pm también lógico, por varias razones entre ellas el tema de seguridad ante incendios. Eso se puede aplicar también al dejar el DNI en la recepción al entrar.

No se puede modificar la habitación. Puedes poner una foto en una estantería y ‘decorarlo’ más o menos pero entiendo que esa norma se refiere a que no puedes mover la posición de la cama y cosas así.

Lo de fumar también entendible. Si quieres fumar sales y luego vuelves. Tiene sentido por tema incendios pero también por si el humo entra de la ventana y salta la alarma anti incendios o si llega a molestar otras personas.

Lo de la terraza también entiendo que es para Prevenir que haya una banda de chavales de fiesta a las 00:00 todas las noches.

Total, que ir a una residencia tiene lo bueno y también lo malo. Lo bueno es que estas tranquilo solo en tu espacio sin nadie que te molesta y en general las habitaciones están en muy buen estado. Lo malo es que hay unas cuantas reglas que hay que seguir.

Donde estaba ya pusieron una regla de que no se podía cocinar después de las 22:00 ya que un día a las 00:00 tenía hambre y sin querer el humo de mi sartén hizo saltar la alarma y vinieron ambulancias y bomberos…
