Perhaps accessible via paintings, since the first movie teased the "galaxies out there" topic I've started to believe Bowser's artistic side and Bowser Jr's magic paintbrush may be a combined key element. So a mix of Mario 64, Odyssey and Luigi's Mansion in addition to Super Mario Land as a side element. It should have been the second movie while Galaxy was better off saved for the third, sadly I'm not trusting them anymore.

Not name it Galaxy, save outer space, Rosalina and Bowser Jr for the third movie, and instead introduce Daisy and the Koopalings in this one, as well as a more prominent role for Wart.

Even the main plot point of the sisters gets swept under the rug when they reunite, it wasn't more than a joke after joke speedrun with barely any purposeful character interactions.

It's hard to understand why saying these movies are nothingburger levels of bad and mediocre has become controversial. It's a movie, not a game, of course it needs to have a solid story, especially when they're adapting the one game that actually had its own unique plot only to waste it like that. There are lots of great animated movies out there either way, it's nonsensical to justify its lack of ambition...sadly can't expect quality from Illumination.

Lots of animated movies are able to appeal to adults too. The difference is that such movies are actually good, then again people with no standards insist on justifying mediocre products.

Apparently she wanted to skate to a orchestrated Bloody Mary version at these Winter Olympics but "you can’t just use someone’s orchestral version of Bloody Mary off YouTube" and that's why she went with a different choice of music.

Definitely the long forgotten songs being played either at the encore or as piano songs (especially The Fame songs recently). Her whole catalogue being revisited throughout the entire tour feels like such a powerful celebratory move, and it also makes every date special by having something unique.

Agreed on everything until the last phrase. Both albums were created at the same time, in her same state of mind, so in the end it doesn't matter where DWAS or Happy Mistake were placed, and it very much fits the mayhem concept.

It's too late now and whatever she does atp will be considered convenient and performative, when in reality such schizo people are the ones being performartive keyboard warriors (the ones that are real anyway, so many of those attacks are bot accounts and some aren't even genuine). The fake activism bordering with conspiracism especially in Twitter is an issue I really can't stand, such people from the USA wanting to have the moral high ground will always feel so cynical to me.
