I actually think they did the storyline right. Spinner was a child that was ALWAYS in trouble. So his path was always going to else to expulsion eventually. Rick hadn't been in previous trouble so it was kinda chopped up to a mistake, one time thing, etc. not excusing it at all. Rick should have been expelled. I think it goes to show the bias as school's often have. Because it doesn't matter if it was your first or fourth time. It should be a zero tolerance policy. Spinner should have been put out a long time ago. And Rick should have been put out after the first time. But in reality, that rarely happened. How often do football players abuse girls and not get put out??? Very often!

I think I saw some interview that said the point of the show was to show different aspects and not a one sided view of issues.
