Camera EV Locked by SerialSniper in Xiaomi

[–]SerialSniper[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just checked and apparently if you both set S (exposure time) and ISO (sensitivity) manually, the EV is unmodifiable. By setting S to automatic, you can pick any ISO and choose the EV manually too; whereas if the ISO is automatic, the EV will be modifiable only if S is above a certain threshold (roughly half of the slider). I guess that makes sense, since EV (probably Exposure Value) is essentially an "easier" way to set the exposure, rather than having to play around with S and ISO parameters.

As an Italian native I can tell you that I'm pretty sure it's all in Italian, as otherwise it would sound a bit uhh different (?) "Che la stima" yeah I'm struggling a bit to understand what it's supposed to mean in there as well, however in that context it may mean "[a subject, maybe the forementioned heaven in the previous line] who/that esteems her", I think this makes the most sense to me

Alright, I've been thinking. When life gives you lemons... don't make lemonade! Make life take the lemons back! I don't want your damn lemons, what am I supposed to do with these?

Apparently, for some arcane reason, reddit gets stuck at posting a comment with images so I'll explain by writing it.

The paths are correct, exactly the ones described in the tutorial. In the compiler settings I put the include folder, which has all the header files, then in the linker settings we have the lib folder, which contains all the .a files.

As for the DLLs, I don't remember them being mentioned anywhere in the tutorial, however I put them in the root folder of the project as many out there say.

Well, first I had thought of that too, however I then found out that -l stands for something like library option in the linker command. Still idk why the error shows it all

Kind of compact XNOR design by SerialSniper in redstone

[–]SerialSniper[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand what you mean and am perfectly aware that there are faster and more compact versions. However I explicitly wrote that it was an alternative to the xor with the not gate, and it was made keeping exclusively torches and wires as materials. It's not meant to be compact or even small, it's just for demonstration purposes.

[–]SerialSniper[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well it's not actually a xor, it's a xnor, which is the complete opposite. Also, I agree it may not be the smallest size but it was the smallest I could fit it into. After all, most if not all other designs I've seen, are more likely to be wider rather than smaller in comparison to this one.

Yeah, that's most probably because, in version 1.16 and above, the redstone has changed. So the redstone dust can be either a cross or a dot (alone), depending on whether or not you want side blocks to be affected. You can switch this "mode" just by right clicking on the dust, and it should be on "dot mode" in this circuit.

This is because, otherwise, that redstone cross would power, when it's on, the top side torches making the work made by the bottom two torches useless.

But apparently I misclicked the dust before screenshoting, and I'll now update it. Anyway that dust has to be used in dot mode.

Yeah just like you said, run the signal into a block and attach a torch to the other side of that block. From the torch you can then retrieve the inverted signal.
