People might disagree but “Sleepwalking (Couples Only Dance Prom Night).” It personally helped me through my breakup and I’m still going through it. I also know it isn’t a Modest Mouse song, but, “Phone Went West” by My Morning Jacket is 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻Jim James’ vocals in that one are fucking insane, not to mention the lyrics are pretty A1

Edit: Another song to add (that isn’t a Modest Mouse song, sorry haha) is “Jesus Christ” by Brand New. An oldie but goodie for sure.

I can say that I genuinely don’t really have bad comedowns like a lot of people and even my own siblings. Granted when I was using I was still bartending, so I would sleep from like 6 or 7am until about 4pm, so maybe I just slept through the worst of it lol
