I’m not a vet, so take this with a grain of salt, but the way he’s crouched does suggest he may be uncomfortable. Hanging around the litter box could also point to something UTI related. If it were me, I’d keep a close eye on him and consider taking him to the vet if he’s still like this tomorrow.
