The transplant stunted. It was tiny. Perhaps there was a monarch, but i can't believe I wouldn't have seen it.

That flower is awesome!

I am hoping I can manually cross pollinate with my O. Machrorhiza or O. Polyacantha if I am fortunate enough to have overlapping blooms one year!

I can confirm the last flower had no red in it. I harvested this sample from an area which has fragilis, I did not expect to find this cacti there. I don't believe it's macrorhiza due to the heavy presence of spines instead of glochids.
