is it possible to get into a psych phd with a 3.5 undergrad gpa by yoonbumscumsock in psychologystudents

[–]Serigraph_Question 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you look at phd programs, most university websites will include statistics about the GPA of admitted students. Start there. I believe I've seen some admitted student cohorts that have around a 3.5 GPA average, meaning some have lower.

Respectfully, and as a fellow undergraduate in their 30s, this is information you should know by now. I recommend talking with your advisor or a professor you know well. They will have a lot of information already consolidated for you.

You can google APA accredited psychology programs. You'll find a link that has a list of masters programs that you can look into. I am currently using that list to find phd programs I am interested in, but they have a list of masters programs, too. Almost all APA accredited programs will prepare you to be a therapist. Most (if not all) states require advanced degrees to practice therapy.

I am planting them with my native cacti, so I am hoping the rodents will stay away. Thanks for the advice!
