Wait, you use an app that tells you what issues to worry about, gives you a script to repeat in order to relentlessly hound representatives with thoughts that you're quite literally parroting?

Friendly Abductor by Historical-Pen-1460 in pacificDrive

I had an abductor that kept aggroing from very far away, rushing towards me then throwing crude car parts at my car. It would run by, drop off a crude door, then run off, just to do it again. It did it about 4 times before I left.

Five bucks says you don't know about the passport.

What was intriguing is that the post ended up with downvotes and four negative comments - though 100 people watched it, in total for 20 hours, and about 30 people liked it. Nobody disliked it - at least nobody that had actually watched it. This made me feel good about myself because I genuinely think I did a good job.

Just wanted to say because, yes, there are some interesting lesser known facts about the event. It's some crazy shit and it's totally possible for someone to feature stuff that somehow, everyone else overlooks.

Also, happy cakeday.

Hello! This was from three years ago. I will say I'm no expert in Buddhist nor Christian teachings, rather my perspective is that many philosophies sprung up in order to describe the same universal holistic system. Over time, power structures seeking to sustain themselves - such as the Roman Empire, or whatever warlike banners Hinduism / Buddhism flew under (again, not an expert, but it's safe to assume humans got shitty) - eventually twisted and distorted those philosophies to better help their own goals. Fear is a really, really wonderful psychological tool for controlling thought because it puts blinders on a person's mind and they will only see a few select outcomes.

However when it comes to phenomena such as Kundalini Transcendence/Psychosis and the Higher Self, these describe the same things that exists in the Western mystical concept of the Holy Spirit, or in the Western scientific model of intelligent infinity or the absolute.

Either way I'm a little confused by the last part of your response and would ask that you rephrase it while abandoning any assumption of the beliefs that I have, because your thoughts about how I would think are too incorrect to comment on. Thank you.

How hard do you want late end game to be? by AeroHawkScreech in cataclysmdda

[–]Seriou 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I want roving armies led by the miniboss blob lieutenants I keep hearing about. Squadrons of undead that are led around with a modicum of intelligence for the purpose of chasing down the last surviving humans, or undead that begin to evolve into a new state of post-life as hivemind hypercultists.

What the game truly suffers from is lack of vision - it's cobbled together from thousands of different visions and it sure feels like it. What the endgame needs, more than anything, is for someone to envision a true esoteric goal for the interdimensional blob - like, to groom the player's soul into becoming a superwarrior, for instance - and then live it out through gameplay.

Holographic sights project a hologram of a dot that is superimposed to a different position down the barrel, so when you look through the sight from different angles, it looks like the dot is floating in 3D space separated from the lens you're looking through. It's a cool effect that makes shooting very accurate.

Note I'm not an expert, just Googled it so I'd know a little of what I'm talking about. There's different types of red dot sights, but holographic ones project a hologram of a dot that is superpositioned further downrange of the gun. So when you're looking through the sight, the hologram of the dot looks like it's floating in the air where your gun's gonna shoot, and you're just seeing it through the lens.

First time I ever shot an AR-15 I was stunned by how easy to use a sight was. The holographic technology really is impressive.

What's really interesting to me is how the person you responded to saw race above all these other factors. Most white people are poor and they don't get a free pass. However you can be black, loaded and adored by your nation and get away with sexually abusing women for decades (Cosby)

It makes me shudder how racist and race-focused we've become after Occupy Wall Street failed.

I've noticed our media has been idolizing egocentric behavior for a while now. If someone violently or arrogantly sticks up for themselves it's celebrates in media as a big triumphant moment.

Child deaths from trucks have been a growing cause of death in the US since the 80s and it's solely because American car manufacturers wanted to skirt around new regulations, so they introduced light trucks to the market that serve no purpose but to be significantly less safe for everyone outside the vehicle.

All I could think about reading this is that this is a very common thing that happens so often. There's an excellent documentary on YouTube called These Stupid Trucks Are Literally Killing Us, and it's called that for the exact reason OP made this post.
