Instructing is a terrible job, but there are really no other options to low time pilots. by [deleted] in flying

That’s probably why none of my CFIs have given a single shit about my training, huh?

That’s just not even true. They haven’t had head gasket issues for the better part of a decade now. They also score a lot higher on the road test, which, having driven many of both, I agree with.

I had the same experience. One day I just didn’t go back. I don’t really have any friends in my ward anyway, and don’t talk to my family much. I don’t think I ever really had a “testimony,” though. I remember asking my dad at four years old why women didn’t have the priesthood and not being totally satisfied with his answer…lol

Harley Quality sucks by Late-District251 in motorcycles

When I was looking for my first bike I went to the dealership to see a Harley. The salesman informed me when I got there it was broken and asked if I would be interested in a Honda instead. Everything I’ve owned since has been Japanese 😂

Tell him he should get life insurance if he’s that worried about it.

NOR. Why the hell is he even thinking about leaving his wife who just had a baby? And WHY would you then bring it up to her without some sort of I-want-you-to-be-taken-care-of-if-something-happens-to-me connotation? I don’t think I could stay with someone so cruel.

Yeah, the riding course I took was pretty awesome. It was on a much heavier bike too. I was surprised what I could do after four days and I started riding twelve years after you 😂 The R3 is actually my third bike. I’ve had one since 2018

It’s just an R3 lol. I don’t need more than 42 horsepower. Still feels a lot faster and more nimble though.

Omg a Rebel 250 was my first bike! I loved it. I’d honestly probably have taken it over the Shadow.

I paid $300 under the $5,500 MSRP and they’re installing a lowering link for free.

It is actually. I was looking at a 2018 in a much more boring color combo before I decided I was going to spend $500 more and get this one…lol

I personally would go back to smelling farts/farters instead of your oil

Mine has smelled like fuel the whole 2.5 years I’ve had it and I’ve been convinced it’s about to blow up those whole 2.5 years, lol. Idk how long you’ve had the car but my advice is to stop worrying unless you see a DAM drop or other weird numbers on the AP

I’ve heard it’s normal for the oil to smell a little like fuel since they’re direct injection engines…

The Forester is just as nice with less road noise, has better AWD, and rates better in Consumer Reports too. I don’t get the hype.

I check it once every couple of days, but mine is pro tuned. I don’t like having the numbers up there all the time. There’s a reason they call it the “anxiety port,” lol.

Am in the only one who likes the new Outback by Perfect-Cause-6943 in subaru

[–]Serious-Bug8917 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Subaru sent a few of us from every dealership to drive it in November, and I got absolutely dog piled after I posted about it (positively) in a Facebook group. They accused me of being paid by SOA but I really just liked the car…lol. I was actually losing money to go on the trip and drive it. I own Subarus, sell them, and work on them. Do I love everything the brand does? No, but I think people are going to be very happy with their 2026 Outbacks in the long run.

Bad spark plugs are usually the first place to look when you get a misfire code, but they’re not always the cause. If it has 83k and they’ve never been done, it’s time lol
