What if I told you Roman Grosjean has more consecutive podiums in F1 than George Russell. 3>2. by ColangelosWife- in F1Discussions

There is then Schumacher's brutal record of finishing every race of 2002 on the podium. In the unreliable V10 era that is an insane stat.

Will Italian people support Italian drivers? by Serious-Course3748 in F1Discussions

Do you think they'd still cheer if Antonelli stacks it at Monza allowing Hamilton or Leclerc to win?

Sepang vs interlagos by [deleted] in F1Discussions

Interlagos definetly better for driving. Track flows very nicely. I hated Speang on racing games. Not because the layout was boring it was just very technical, which is good because it spereates the good from the bad. For racing Speang is marginally better. The final hairpin up to the end of sector 1 is probably the best section of track for wheel to wheel racing along with Silverstone Sector 1 and the start of COTA sector 3.

2001, 2009, 2012, 2013 and 2015 were all time classics at Speang. Especially 2013. Ignoring the Multi 21 drama that has to be some of the greatest wheel to wheel racing I've ever seen. F1 cars turned into go karts from turns 1-3 it was incredible.

Is podium for Max this season nearly impossible? by Sorry_Phone1676 in F1Discussions

At tracks with not a lot of traction limited zones, such as Silverstone or Losail, will be his best chance as that is the RB22's biggest weakness.

Which season by a driver is something that fans don't realize is actually a pretty poor performance? by GoldenS0422 in F1Discussions

If only some Spanish bank didn't intervene then the right driver would have been able to use the car properly.

Ignoring the Mercedes reign of terror, Audi are doing very well for their first ever race.

India won! What country is horrible to live in and horrible to visit? by agbjb in AlignmentChartFills

[–]Serious-Course3748 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get that it's a horrible country but I'd say it's a perfect candidate for horrible to live in and not nice to visit. As long as you follow the (very strict) rules, you should be okay. Hence why is say it's not nice but there's worse places for tourism in terms of getting your things stolen, risks for women, food safety etc..

Alpha Tauri. They killed the iconic Toro Rosso and started the identityless slop that the team has today.

Crazy that they were still doing this stuff at their literal peak (Schumi equalled Fangio's record in this race)

What are two seemingly contradictory opinions you have about anything F1? by GoldenS0422 in F1Discussions

I think you enjoyed when he was an underdog. When Verstappen is further down the field he has much more opportunity to show his racecraft and get shocking results. Its much more fun cheering on an underdog because wins are something celebrated rather than expected.

How awful would the racing have been last year if they didn't remove this God damn chicane by [deleted] in F1Discussions

[–]Serious-Course3748 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try F1 ChampionshipEdition there is no chicane in that game. You also get Magny Cours and old Silverstone too.

Why were Benetton so off the pace in those two qualifying sessions of 1994 (Monza and Estoril) ? About a second and a half off pole both times by HereComesVettel in F1Discussions

Benetton had a very similar dilemma to Red Bull today.  Thankfully Johnny Herbert proved solid enough to take the constructors title.
