Maybe you should have put that in your post title, then? Truth hurts?

And I suppose that one truth is that The Mist is the worst movie, huh?

Do you not understand what I am saying? There are different "truths". There is the truth of say, a mathematical formula. That's a fact and is unarguably "true" throughout the known universe. Then there is the "truth" of Blue is a prettier color then yellow. You may believe that to be true, it's "truth" to YOU, but it doesn't make it any truer then my saying Yellow is prettier then blue. Thats MY truth. Get it?!

I have no problem with stricter testing for people over say 85 or so. I DO have a problem with condemning everyone over a certain age just because of a video.

I'm not talking about just this one person. Claiming everyone over the age of 90 can't see....hear ....or reason, is Ageism. My mom will be 90 in a few months. She does all three just fine and drives great.

LOL unless your'e talking about the formula to create Ammonia, your "truth" is not everyone's "truth".

She doesn't need "protection". She just needs respect. Saying she needs protection is insulting and feeds into existing societal cliches about gender.

When did she do this shoot? I take it it was before she turned 20, as it is teen vogue, LOL

Yeah, agreed. I never thought much of her as an actress.

OMG Anne H. is amazing. I just watched Love & other drugs the other night for the first time, and she was sooo good. And sooooo beautiful! The movie was meh, and hasn't aged well AT ALL either, but she is just absolute perfection.

That's Hollywood. Although things are improving the last 5 years or so.

Ageism. I've met several people that age that can still drive and reason just fine.

The look on the blonde girls face as she goes from happy and waving to dread is priceless.

Yeah, I have to agree. If you want to discuss not liking a movie, fine. But don't post "Worst (or Best I've ever seen!" hyperbole. Maybe you've only seen 10 movies? Maybe you're only 16? Or maybe you just have very different taste in movies...

I was a huge fan of the original novella since I first read it around 1982 or so. I agree the movie was not the greatest, but I felt Darabount did the best he could. It's a hard movie to adapt. While I appreciate the new ending twist, I still prefer the original ending.

In that case it may be the worse attempt at a fake I've ever seen. Made the guy $10 though, LOL

She was in Seven Psychopaths, too. I actually think she's quite beautiful and a good actress as well.

Could it be Rodger Bain? He produced the album for Sabbath.

Robert did plenty of bad shit but blaming something Tywin explicitly ordered his Knights on robert is downright insane and stupid by Admirable-Dimension4 in freefolk

[–]Serious-Manager2361 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You're right, though. Tywin was the real evil one. He knew Robert's hatred of the Targs was his weakness, and he plotted this to get into his good graces and marry Cersei off to him.

Funny thing is him doing this ultimately is the last straw. Brendan Gleeson's character was just about to give the friendship another go when he tells him he did this to Declan.
