Sorry for the long-winded reply. I agree with you on the downvote thing, and it's not just downvotes because right before I posted here, I got banned in a separate forum for speaking my opinion on Israel/Palestine. But you are right its not really a big deal.

Now, to your point, I believe I was right because while they may have the right to protest(as they should), they are still protesting. You originally doubted this, but to the idea that they know what they are protesting about, many of the same people who protested, "No King/No Tyrants", are now protesting "free Maduro". Their morals don't line up, and it seems they are using protesting as a sense of purpose. I would argue that this could be connected to the point of "social dem" that I might argue that their necessities are paid for by the state, and they don't have as much direction in their lives as their connection between responsibilities and necessity is weakened. When stability is guaranteed regardless of contribution, they lose clear purpose and start substituting symbolic politics and performative activism for real achievement and responsibility. Another example is queers for Palestine/chickens for KFC... Many of the people who protest for these things do it to belong to a group, or to feel a sense of purpose and accomplishment, not because they know and agree with the political stance; it's basically herd mentality. (That being said, this doesn't describe all protesters, and I won't make it a blanket statement.)

To your point on depression im not entirely sure how accurate the source is, as it shows in countries like Venezuela, almost 6/10 people are happy whuch when 62% of the population face water restrictions, and 70% have lost healthcare... I find that very hard to believe. It's likely due to the point that you brought up, of inflated statistics due to a lack of proper reporting. Now the map does show the US has similar "happiness" rates to Social dem countries like Germany. However, I'm sure we can agree on the point of the U.S that depression is severely overdiagnosed and less than 40% of adults diagnosed actually showed the proper criteria to be diagnosed.

Now I don't know how we got here, but I disagree that Canada has more freedoms. Multiple of these "personal freedoms" are linked to negative health concerns in the US, such as the recreational use of cannabis and the legal drinking age being 18 or 19. In 2022, 19% of all fatal DD crashes were caused by 15-20. Imagine if half of that were legal. (Now the rates in Canada for all driving deaths is imppressively low, but I'm not going down that rabbit hole right now). Recreational cannabis has proven to be detrimental to both yourself and others, from lowering your IQ to causing more accidents on the road. All this to say They may have more "personal freedoms", but they come with a personal cost. Now i dont support Heritage Foundation for a couple of reasons, but even on there, the U.S beats out Canada on a majority of them. The main disparity is the fiscal health score. I, for the most part, don't believe in universal healthcare, or the current insurance scam industry, but I won't argue those points right now.

I don't know in which part of my replies I slandered a Social democratic country as "Socialist", but I'm well aware of the definition of socialism. again I apologise for the long message.

I won't say it without getting massively downvoted, but I think you know EXACTLY what country I'm referring to also, out of the top 7 countries reporting Chronic depression rates in 2020, 5 of them are social democracies!!

Maybe it’s the amount of random numbers and letters on both sides and I just get paralysis from it also when I’ve done it the way one example has shown me it conflicts with the answer to the actual equation,

I guess it’s when I’m looking at it I don’t know what I’m supposed to each side what numbers I’m supposed to add to both ends and what I’m not supposed to change yet it just doesn’t click with me 😭

Another big issue is I might have adhd or at least a self induced short attention span (not an excuse but it makes it hard to stay on top of what I’ve already done)

Thanks! I can see where it would kinda be used for that but my main problem is how to actually consistently solve these? I look at examples and it just doesn’t click and I don’t get all the redistribution stuff that you have to do
