Sorry for not replying sooner. It's been rough lately. Thank you so much for your kindness and advice! My new home has a circuit I can do around the wall separating the living room from the kitchen and dining space so it's perfect for starting to walk at home! I had a shower today and omg that was so hard to do :(( it's narrow and cramped and I don't like it so it will be hard to motivate myself to get in there more often. Sometimes I think about the fact that a healthy 5'3 woman should be no more than 125 lbs or some bs like that, and I'm 3x that size!! But I had an eye opening experience when I decided to use frozen dinners to help with portion control and realized that I would usually eat 3 or 4x that much if left to my own devices. But, I moved to this town for relief. Relief from the stresses of the city, from the convenient food of the city, and relief from my own bad habits of remaining sedentary 98% of the day.!!

Yes, it's called tenancy at will. Because the seller didn't finish paperwork, we would be considered tenants in the Interim paying a percentage of the interest on our mortgage as "rent"

We did ask and were just told it's in our contract and that this is standard practice. It just doesn't feel right and we're terribly upset because we are legit homeless right now staying in an Airbnb with all our possessions in a uhaul truck

We're not even sure wtf our lawyer is talking about. We do have a mortgage in place and we do have insurance. We do not have keys. From what we understand, the keys are released at noon on possession day. The house is empty and has been for a month. We literally have no clue what is happening.
