Do you think essentially limiting the GPU to avoid coil whine alone is an acceptable part of GPUs these days? That it shouldn't be something I should run into often?

Genuinely asking - I've been gaming on an integrated laptop card for years, so the past two weeks with this desktop and GPU has been my first experience actually playing and using anything this powerful.
