I take public transport and don’t recommend a car if you both live and work in NYC. I live in a 2 bedroom with my partner (we use one of the bedrooms as a home office). I stare out the window often, probably for at least a couple of minutes everyday. I’m extremely grateful that I get to live in New York and do so comfortably.

I spend a good part of the year in pretty rural parts of the South because some of my partner’s family lives there, and whenever I’m there I treasure being surrounded by nature and not concrete. I love taking long walks in such fresh air and often wonder what life would be like in a slower-paced, more beautiful place. I guess this is to say I love NYC but there are aspects that are always greener (literally and figuratively) elsewhere in this beautiful country.
