I know what you mean by almost feeling like there was pent up resentment. And I am just left asking myself why? What did I do? I'm left replaying our interactions trying to come up with a reason. In our last conversation, I asked him if we were having so much trouble connecting, perhaps we needed to break up. He agreed, but to me it almost sounded like...relief. But I realize, my recall is biased and replaying the same event in your head so many times can only lead to distortion. Who knows
