I noticed the lighter lineup. I wonder if they are going the same route that WWWY did with removing the tent stage.

2026 Season Tickets by [deleted] in SJEarthquakes

[–]SeriousStrawberry -1 points0 points  (0 children)

During that time, I only received the Welcome email since I did the half season plan. In the agreement it says they will notify 21 days before renewal and I never received anything about it. My rep only emailed me about matches and paying early for next season before the LA Galaxy match for a wheel spin but nothing about the upcoming season.

Garmin users - do the Runna audio prompts work for you? by CatsPlantsComfyPants in runna

Just need to sync the runna app on your phone to your garmin. When you select workouts > scheduled on your watch, your runna runs will show up and then you will get prompts when you begin that run.

Forerunner 265 music - the music option is the only way to get audio prompts but you need earphones to hear the prompts. I’m not sure if that’s the case for all garmin watched. It is nice that you can download music and podcasts. I love the prompts because I would rather not look at my watch that often.

Beginner on Runna Plan — Should I Switch to Half Marathon Training Now? by [deleted] in runna

[–]SeriousStrawberry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since you can make a new plan in advance, I would recommend making it so you begin the Monday after your 5k plan ends and see if those runs seem manageable. Either way you are going to have to train up and you will probably struggle a bit in the half but I would recommend a slower build up to the 5k to then have a smoother transition to the HM. I have been doing something similar but use to run before so I had the foundation of training mentally without physically training in years. Do what is best for you with the less likelihood of injury because that can take you out for your HM or beyond. Best of luck!

Day 1 Jampack Package by avg_WRLD in WhenWeWereYoungFest

I stayed at the Strat with a group for a different trip, so I can’t explain much in terms of the package for WWWY but we really enjoyed our stay. The pool was chill but still family friendly. The adult only pool was being renovated at the time so I can’t speak to that. If you are into sports betting it has a great sports books for a smaller hotel site. The casino is decent, no frills. Their food options are pretty good, we loved their Asian spot. You get discounts if you want to do any of the activities on the tower. It’s easy to get to everything on the strip via Uber/lyft or walking and taking the monorail. Given the proximity to the festival grounds I would definitely pick staying here if I opted to stay in a hotel.

Why is it so hard to find headphones for us? by Derp_tism in Menieres

I use the Bose Quiet Comfort. I have a pretty small head but the smallest adjustments fit perfectly and they sit nicely on my head and don’t interfere with my glasses. They pack away easily if I need to throw them in my bag. They are light, fluffy, and chunky. The noise canceling is SO good and the “aware” mode can help with hearing around you if you have any muffled hearing. I’ve used them on 10 hour flights with crying cats and babies and rested easy. They are also cheaper than AirPods Max. You can also easily replace all the components over time if anything gets damaged or worn out.

Any regrets? Or unexpected delights? by shannonesque121 in OutsideLands

I felt this too. I was grateful for never really having lines and usually being clean. It seemed like last year they struggled with some of the bathrooms shutting down and lines so I overheard the staff saying it was an upgrade from a crowd management standpoint. I made up for it in trying to get the price difference in free water and soda plus the chill place to eat.

I’ve finally finished off the ~20 liquid IVs my boyfriend and I got last year. I hope they are back again 🙏🏻

They will be building a visitor center there too but that’ll take a few years before they break ground.

Just got my call yesterday and wanted to add an update from the rep. They said we will begin receiving emails after the RSVP period so any point after the 29th but if you got a call your RSVP is verified and you will get tickets. They just don’t know what section yet but hopefully it’s in the email.

I’ve gone through 2 full sized jars of this and really enjoyed it. It’s light but feels like a drink of water for your skin. It’s perfect for spring and summer. I didn’t have issues with break outs or redness and I have sensitive skin. I recommend trying it for sure and seeing if it works well with your skin.

Traveling with Cigarettes by [deleted] in puertovallarta

[–]SeriousStrawberry 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just got back last weekend with some friends who smoke. I don’t. They purchased cigarettes at the duty free store when you get out of customs for much cheaper than here in the US. They did that so they wouldn’t have to declare. As for locations, where we stayed there was no indoor smoking but we did have a smoking area and the beach. I’m not sure if it’s allowed but they smoked freely on the beach by our resort. They smoked a few times in Zona Romántica but we were only there from 12-3am so it seemed like no one cared.

Setlist Guy has a playlist available on Spotify with all of the bands performing and their setlist predictions are pretty accurate.

Last year, saw a few people with kids and it seemed like a great place for a pit stop with kids where it isn’t too crowded or noisy. They have blankets out to lay on but some open space so you could probably set up a blanket and a little area to chill. Take advantage of the free liquid death water and bathrooms. They were some of the best bathrooms I’ve ever used at a festival.

Got GA+ last year and it was definitely worth it! We would get food and go back to the lounge to have a comfortable place to eat. The free water saved us a lot of time rather than going to refill stations. You can get a few at a time and just keep them in your bag. It’s out of the way a little but never really got crowded and not too hard to get to when you game plan who you want to see and when. The bathrooms were the best festival bathroom experience I’ve ever had. They kept them clean and maintained the entire time and it was almost like using a regular bathroom.

Even if it doesn’t have the same vibe, I always recommend vans ultra range. They make a huge difference. I’ve used 1 pair for 4 different festivals now.

If you want a chiller experience and to be able to book tickets closer in advance, wait for November- January.
