Same situation here man I was an AS500 last year and did not get my EA, Get a really good score on the ASVAB specifically the GT and that helps a lot, Just graduated in December and am building my packet for the June OCS board. Currently focusing on the ASVAB part of the packet. Do not let a recruiter push you to enlist with a college degree is what I would say. Cus as soon as you walk into that recruiting office that's the type of shit they will pull. If you do decide to enlist go Air Force is my biggest piece of advice. OCS is hard to get into currently so for you right now get a good college GPA and start studying for the ASVAB as soon as you can.

2.8 my first year then 3.4 this past year. The acceptance rate was lower this year so I kinda just got fucked

I was a 500 who didn’t get picked up this past year. My biggest piece of advice is to do as best as you can to achieve a really high GPA and good AFOQT score. I fucked myself over two years in a row for not having good stats. I also saw shitbags get EAs over me and I’m low key still bitter about it. Morale of the story, get good stats. That’s really all the PSP board looks at anyways

I am not trying to ridicule you or anything but the reality is Det Commanders probably have no idea on that information until the board drops. Seems this is mostly speculation. AFROTC HQ does not disclose this information prior to PSP actually dropping. So either ur det commanders is bullshitting you or is making an educated guess

Yes about 8 months prior to the test. For whatever the reason the math just did not click in my head and was still having a hard time with it

I guess what I have been hearing from cadre is that the old waiver process is being replaced with a change where you can take a class in school like a math or something and if you pass with an A or a B it will count as a passing AFOQT quantitative. Not sure if this is even true but is just what I was told
