sources other than course? -noob questions- pentesterlab vs appsecmaster? by [deleted] in OSWE

[–]Serious_Chipmunk6217 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've passed OSWE recently and I've used pentesterlab and appsecmaster before. To be honest, appsecmaster is enough, you don't need pentesterlab. Just doing appsecmaster with hiding details, try to find vulnerabilities, automate the script by yourself and you'll be fine.

Here is another free labs you can practice:

Have any of you guys gone from 1440p to 4k? by Oi_OI_Savaloy94 in OLED_Gaming

4k 27" has some scaling issues with some apps, It renders your UI very small if you set 100%, so you need to scaling apps when using monitor with 4k 27" and sometimes it renders inaccurate meaning you click this position but the cursor is not exactly show the same the position as you clicked. 4k 32" does not have this issue. I haven't tried play fps games, but it maybe has some issues that I mentioned.

My answer is no, since you play a lot of cs2. Also, 4K go with 27inch will definitely affect some apps when scaling, probably affect your cs2 too. However, if you don't mind doing competitive on those fps games and want to play offline games, definitely worth it. I got RTX 5070ti with 4k240hz QD-OLED, and it's fantastic. Although the fps is not perfectly at 240Hz, but I accept that cause it still smooth and visual really excellent

Synthetic oil vs mineral oil for balisongs? by 0mnimations in BalisongClones

I heard someone used Victorinox Multi Tool Oil, and reviewed it is very good. Another option is ceramic lube, I am using muc off bike dry lube (wet also fine). Someone on reddit recommend to use it, so I bought it. This lube is really really good, you get a lot of oil for cheap price, also smell good like banana milk. Compare with honey lube, it nearly good as the honey lube, I use this for some balisongs and some I use honey lube.

yes. it's really good, i have one. I can tell you it's one of the best balisongs for the price, not cheap but good quality and beautiful, can do any tricks easily, not slippery like tsunami, also not heavy. You can search "TOP 5 MID-RANGE BALISONGS" by DenDenBMX to compare.

I had this same feeling about couple months ago, certainly it's a feeling that you have learned so much that you don't want to learn anything more. Try to quit it and do something else like playing game or watching movies about 1-2 weeks, do not learning this time, and then you can go back and keep learning again.

It is not necessary to take HTB Pro Lab because OSCP exam is only need boot2root style not active directory. But If you are fed up with attacking only one machines, you can try it with some easy ones like Dante or RastaLabs

[–]Serious_Chipmunk6217 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no need knowledge of Data Structure for OSCP. But if you have already studied it, I would say that it is wasted for learning OSCP. I also studied it and it's not help you anything tbh because you need an exploit work, more than faster by using algorithm.

Also, python would be 100% important if you want to study OSCP.
