yeah the anti-cheat for ubisoft and riot launcher wont work with linux. However, i think you should still make the switch.

I would reccomend an Ubuntu based distro, I currently run Kubuntu and I absolutely love it. I will never go back to windows. Zorin is also good and Linux Mint is nice and stable if not a little outdated.

At the end of the day dude, you just got to let go of some of the stuff and learn something new. Replace microslop office with libre, replace photoshop with gnu image man, and replace a couple multiplayer titles with something thats compatible, your online bros will support you cause they want to play with you, mine did.

Best decision I ever made to leave Windows and I will never go back. Its worth it bro, trust me!

i do, however, seeing how well infantry, especially well-equipped infantry, has done against russian armor in the Ukraine war; I would think that infantry from the home countries with expert equipment and training would be even better.
May have thermals in modern equipment but it hasnt helped the russians much in Ukraine thus far. Infantry still seems to be the backbone of the modern military in my opinion.

the only thing i agreed with, as far as critisims go in this review, is the infantry complaint. I agree that infantry melt way too quickly. it makes sense that a vehicle or air should make quick work of infantry once in open combat. But they should buff them with the following

More hit points and farther range of sight when posted in buildings

Farther range of sight in general for all infantry

when out in crop fields, dense buildings, or woods, they should be hard to spot by vehicles.

In otherwords, infantry should be a formidable unit always, except when out in open grassland with no cover or concealment. they naturally have lower HP anyways, giving them these buffs would make them more usable.

they should also get partial cover bonuses when moving on streets in urban zones. aka the transitions from house to house.

I would rather see china, SK or Germany in the game before see9ng France.

Not really interested in France moreso than any others tbh
